Senior Technical Writer (AI Project)

We are looking for a SeniorTechnical Writer to join our engineering team. 

Our Client is a global e-commerce company founded in California. It operates online marketplaces connecting millions of buyers and sellers across more than 190 markets worldwide. The platform offers a wide range of products, including electronics, fashion, collectibles, and home goods.

The AI Unit is at the forefront of innovation, with a team of 100+ engineers and scientists working on advanced technologies and exciting projects. They focus on the latest advancements building AI agents, developing its own machine learning platform, and creating computational power infrastructure. These innovations are providing more personalized and efficient experiences for sellers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create technical documentation for our AI Agent platform in cooperation with architects, tech leads, and engineers 
• Work closely with knowledge owners to understand the how and why behind tools´  features 
• Work with software development teams to document new and changing product  features and offering, ensuring documentation accuracy, quality, and usability •
• Organize and manage your work as part of a self-organized team and meet  commitments 
• Contribute to improving our existing documentation and maintain platform  knowledge

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in writing technical documentation for software products with a proof record 
• Spoken and written English at fluent level (C2) 
• Strong technical understanding of software, programming frameworks, and web technologies, 
• Proficiency with API documentation (Open API, Swager, Postman)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to write clear and concise  content 
• Experience with development concepts and tools (source code management - Github, code  review, and CI/CD) 
• Able to interview engineers and subject matter experts
• Knowledge of Markdown (ability to build websites with React is a plus)
• Familiarity with and previous experience working in an agile environment which  translates in grasping complex technical concepts and handling complex tasks in a timely  manner 
• Ability to operate under ambiguity and manage your own time
