Job Description

SageCor Solutions seeks a Software Engineer 1 with 7+ years of experience (or 11+ years in lieu of a degree) to support projects in Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities include developing and implementing system configuration scripts in various languages (Python, ksh, csh, Bourne, Bash), working with C++ and multi-threaded programming, and utilizing UNIX/LINUX operating systems (RedHat or CentOS). A TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is mandatory. Experience with software engineering methods, real-time systems, and signals analysis is a plus. The role requires excellent customer relationship and requirements management skills.

Must have:

C++ and multi-threaded programming experience
UNIX/LINUX (RedHat/CentOS) experience
System configuration scripting (Python, ksh, csh, Bourne, Bash)
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
7+ years experience (or 11+ years without a degree)

Good to have:

Experience with software engineering methods, real-time systems, and signals analysis
Excellent customer relationship and requirements management skills

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Details:

• Experience with C++ and multi-threaded programming
• Experience UNIX/LINUX operating systems, including RedHat or CentOs
• Experience with developing and implementing system configuration scripts in Python, ksh, csh, Bourne, and Bash
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with software engineering or 11+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
• Experience with software engineering methods, real-time systems, and signals analysis
• Possession of excellent customer relationship skills, including that of managing requirements for feature requests
