Software Engineer

You’ll join the Technology team to design, develop, and support new and existing applications, collaborating with team leads and technical staff to deliver software solutions. This is a 1+ year contract opportunity. The role is located in Rochester, MN, and is 100% Remote.

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications

• Work with team leads for assignments and gather requirements from business users

• Integrate applications using REST APIs and relational databases

• Collaborate in Agile Scrum environments

• Leverage cloud environments and open-source tools for scalable systems

Software Engineer Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases

• Experience integrating systems with REST APIs

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Preferred:

  • Java and Spring framework experience

  • Agile/Scrum experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft ADO and build pipelines

  • Google Cloud Platform and Azure experience

  • Background in healthcare industry software

  • Experience with big data, analytics, and scalable distributed systems

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
