As a Software Engineer, Early Career, you'll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions at Google. You'll be part of a small, versatile team working on projects critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and the company evolve. This role requires versatility, leadership qualities, and a willingness to tackle new challenges across the full-stack as you contribute to Google's technology advancements. Responsibilities include managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, as well as taking on tasks as requested, following through to completion despite obstacles.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
  • Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work (e.g., open-source coding)
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Experience developing accessible technologies
  • Experience working with one or more of the following: web or mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
  • Ability to learn other coding languages as needed

Minimum qualifications:
