Software Quality Engineer II

Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements new product features and implements modifications to existing product features to include technical documentation.
• Works with customer facing team members to resolve problems with released software.
• Exhibits very high personal commitment to quality, software engineering best practices, and protection of sensitive consumer information
• Attends daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, work estimates
• Ability to drive issues to effective resolution and to find solutions to challenging problems
• Mentors team members and conducts code and test reviews.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, XML, JSON, and Relational Database experience with performance tuning
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts 
• Familarity with multithreading, asynchronous programming

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum
• Experience of using Jira and Confluence
• Strong hand-on experience with socket programming (TCP/UDP)
• RESTful web services and OAUTH2 authentication
• Experience working with network protocols, packet inspection tools (e.g., wireshark) is a plus  
• Experience using any public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Good experience with BDD or xUnit test patterns
