Job Description

The Strategic Agency Manager at Google will focus on C-level stakeholder relationships and co-create business strategies with a portfolio of agencies. This role involves identifying and executing growth opportunities, increasing digital capabilities, and strengthening long-term partnerships within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) agencies. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly business objectives, owning a portfolio of agencies, managing relationships at all levels (C-suite to media buyers), supporting agency programs, and collaborating with client strategists and product specialists to drive mutual business growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business development, partnerships, or related fields within the technology industry and have a strong understanding of online media and Google's advertising solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in relevant fields (business development, partnerships, etc.)
  • C-level executive interaction experience
  • Agreement/partnership management experience
  • Deliver against quarterly business objectives
  • Own and manage agency portfolios
  • Manage agency relationships at all levels
Good to have:
  • Sales experience in technology/advertising
  • Experience across various media platforms
  • Managing multiple partners with attention to detail
  • Google Ads and YouTube account management
  • Experience managing advertising or media campaigns

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales in a technology, advertising, media sales, or internet environment.
  • Experience in media across a variety of platforms (e.g., TV, radio, print, sponsorship, etc.).
  • Experience managing multiple partners with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment with excellent problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will focus on C-level stakeholder relationships and co-create business strategies with a portfolio of agencies by identifying and executing opportunities for growth.

You will focus on increasing digital capabilities and strengthening long-term business growth partnerships within our Google Customer Solutions (GCS) agencies, driving business growth, and product adoption across the broader portfolio of agency-managed accounts. You will drive alignment on the allocation of the resources for these agencies, to support your growth enablement initiatives, collaborating with client strategists, and product specialists to deliver mutual business growth to our agencies, their customers, and Google.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product objectives; grow agency business by driving product adoption and growth across a broad portfolio of Agency clients.
  • Own a portfolio of agencies by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Work towards long term goals on new and existing business, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding business experiences to Google's agency partners.
  • Manage primary agency relationships from C-levels all the way down, including Media Planners and Buyers.
  • Support the agency program by being a thought partner for the Agency Lead on initiatives and agency-level planning.
