Position Overview

Are you a Linux expert with a passion for cloud technology? Join the Tencent Cloud IaaS Technical Operations Team as a Linux Systems Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, provide top-tier technical support, and drive product innovations. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our cloud servers and dedicated hosts, helping our customers achieve their business goals with confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional services for cloud operating system fault diagnosis, problem analysis, and optimization suggestions.
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis of customer issues with cloud servers, summarize patterns, and develop diagnostic tools and platforms.
• Develop and maintain advanced diagnostic tools.
• Drive efforts to enhance and optimize our product offerings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or its equivalents, with a minimum of 3 years in system product development or operations. Public Cloud professional certifications are highly preferred.
• Linux System Management: Proficient in installing, configuring, and tuning software services like systemd and nginx.
• Fault Diagnosis: Deep understanding of Linux performance analysis, capable of root cause analysis using system logs and performance indicators.
• Programming: Skilled in Linux system programming and debugging tools such as gdb, strace, and objdump.
• Programming Languages: Proficient in at least one programming language like Shell, Python, Perl, Golang, or C.
• Networking: Knowledgeable in TCP/IP protocols, virtual network interfaces, and network problem diagnosis through packet capture and routing analysis.
