Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Design concepts and working prototypes with user-centric, intuitive interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, users and other stakeholders on how the product should look, feel, and behave.
- Conduct user experience testing, research-related services, theories, and methods to support recommendations.
- Develop and enhance company brand, product style guides and component libraries.
- Contribute to user documentation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelors’ degree in graphic, visual, or communication design, or similar field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in designing user-centric, responsive applications for web and mobile.
- Experience with user testing (qualitative and/or quantitative).
- Experience with interaction design and development of clickable prototypes.
- Experience with Semantic HTML Markup, Accessibility, CSS/Sass, and front-end JavaScript libraries (React, Angular, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of design principles and possess a good eye for aesthetics, layout, grid systems, color theory, and typography.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering compelling products in a high-growth, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that delights users.
- Exhibit a high proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar
- Deep understanding of UX processes and methodologies.
- Able to design end-to-end User Experiences, from Information Architecture to wireframing workflows, to visual design.
- Capable of translating designs across all devices and screen sizes.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation.
- Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 25 Lbs.
- Learn and comprehend basic instructions.
- Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities.
- Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking.
