Summary

CAE seeks an Academic Ground Instructor (AGI) with 5+ years of experience in international environments to develop and deliver CRM training courses for NATO E-3A AWACS crew. Must have excellent organization and communication skills, CRM trainer certification, and fluency in English. NATO E-3A AWACS experience and NATO Security Clearance are preferred.

For our site in Geilenkirchen (close to Aachen) we are looking for an

Academic Ground Instructor (f/m/d)

As an AGI, the following tasks are key for the role:      

  • Autonomously responsible for the creation and delivery of courses and training tailored to a diverse audience in a multicultural environment
  • Training needs analysis (TNA)
  • Design, develop, revise, update and manage initial and refresher CRM (Crew Resource Management) training courses for all crew positions on board of NATO E-3A AWACS.
  • Design, develop, revise, update and manage AIC (Aircrew Instructor Training) courses for all crew positions on board of NATO E-3A AWACS.
  • Training management, including training schedule, documentation, coordination of training facilities and –planning of the annual training calendar
  • Providing quality management/quality assurance/quality control for the courseware
  • Carry out additional tasks under direction of on-site system manager training

Your profile:

  • Educational and/or professional background with a bachelor degree plus a professional certification and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in an international environment
  • Excellent organization skills, including a sense of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills across versatile customer groups
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and service-orientated
  • Fluency in English
  • CRM Trainer according European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Regulation or, nationally certified, with at least 3 years of CRM-teaching experience
  • Preferably NATO E-3A AWACS experience
  • Eligible for NATO Security Clearance (Up to NATO SECRET)
