Account Intern

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Accounting Intern for a 3 to 6-month period, starting in February 2025. Reporting to the Head of Group Operations & Finance, you are responsible for assisting the finance team, support in financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, financial reporting and financial control.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and undertakes the bookkeeping, finance functions (i.e. AP, AR etc.) and periodic accounting activities of Dormant entities, ensuring timely reporting and proactive in addressing the financial requirements.
• Support the compilation, coordination and preparation of financial analysis, providing accurate and quality reporting output.
• Assist in the file management matters of the Company, coordinating effective storage and retrieval of agreement/ contract documents.
• Participate as a key member in other ad-hoc financial projects/ tasks as assigned; proactive in all dealings to achieve team objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Priority will be given to candidates who are in their 2nd year or final year of study.
• Familiar with accounting software and proficient in office suite (i.e. spreadsheet and word processing etc.)
• A team player with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent follow up and negotiation skills.
