Job Description

As an Account Strategist, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth for Google's advertising products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You'll work with businesses of all sizes to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that meet their specific needs. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills. You'll be responsible for delivering against quarterly business generation and product growth goals, building a portfolio for medium and large size businesses, consulting with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets, and achieving customer business and marketing objectives by increasing customer growth and delivering outstanding customer business experience. You'll also build relationships with the end customer or agencies and manage stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, online media environment, or a marketing role
  • Ability to communicate in Czech or Slovak and English fluently
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing
  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection managing and engaged promotions
  • Knowledge of business, online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and use storytelling as a client engagement strategy
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Czech Republic and Slovakia
  • Ability to consistently achieve business quotas to drive growth

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, online media environment, or a marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Czech or Slovak and English fluently to support client relationships and drive sales in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection managing and engaged promotions.
  • Knowledge of business, online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and use storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business generations and product growth goals.
  • Build a portfolio for medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Achieve customer business and marketing objectives by increasing customer growth and delivering outstanding customer business experience.
  • Build relationships with the end customer or agencies and manage stakeholders.
