Job Description

This Assembler position involves producing components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies. Key responsibilities include preparing work by studying instructions and gathering materials, positioning and fastening parts, verifying specifications, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The role requires good computer skills, effective time management, and attention to detail.
Must have:
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
  • Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock and anticipating needed supplies.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Good to have:
  • 1+ years prior experience working with controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance
  • Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment

What We Do

FOX Factory designs, engineers, manufactures and markets performance-defining products and systems for customers worldwide. Our premium brand, performance-defining products and systems are used primarily on bicycles, side-by-side vehicles, on-road vehicles with and without off-road capabilities, off-road vehicles and trucks, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, specialty vehicles and applications, motorcycles, and commercial trucks. Position Summary:

Produces components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Good working knowledge of computer skills needed.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

HS Graduate or equivalent

Experience:

  • No experience required. 1+ years prior experience preferred working with controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.
  • Experience using mechanical inspection or power tools preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Activity:

Constantly - 6+ hours :

Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel, Reach above shoulder

Occasionally - 1 to 3 hrs. :
