Job Description

Tesla seeks an experienced Associate Manager of Manufacturing to oversee daily operations at its Tilburg, NL, facility. Responsibilities include managing multiple remanufacturing and production teams, coaching supervisors, driving continuous improvement via KPIs, ensuring high-quality output, fostering a safety-conscious culture, collaborating cross-functionally to improve processes and resolve production bottlenecks, conducting audits, and implementing root cause analysis for issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing teams in high-volume or high-mix manufacturing environments, a BS/MS in Business or a technical field (or equivalent experience), and proven success with production performance metrics.

What to Expect

Tesla is recruiting for an experienced Production Associate Manager to join our Service Manufacturing Team and oversee day-to-day operations in Tilburg, NL. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage multiple teams remanufacturing and production lines. In this role, the Associate Manager is hands-on, and provides coaching and mentoring to the team, while striving to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. He/she works closely with Production Control, Planning, Engineering to ensure overall success of Tesla

What You’ll Do

Manage daily operations through Key Performance Indicators (KPI), problem solving and driving continuous improvement to achieve the KPI targets.
Coach and mentor the supervisors on standard work, problem solving and continuous improvement and effectively manage their performance.
Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against aggressive production targets.
Create and maintain a culture that prioritizes safety, quality and cost through communication, action, and accountability.
Work cross functionality to make process improvements, address production bottlenecks and increase productivity.
Support issue resolution through root cause analysis, implementing permanent counter measures and an environment of continuous learning.
Conduct daily process audits to ensure compliance of the team to established standards, policies and procedures for safety, quality, delivery and cost.

What You’ll Bring

5+ year experience managing teams of people in volume and or high mix manufacturing setting.
BS or MS in Business or Technical discipline and/or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, costs).
Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills.
Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
