Qualifications / Certifications required:
Qualifications - A related tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) is essential
Experience required:
1-2 Years experience preferably in the tax environment
Responsibilities of role:
- Manage a portfolio of clients with submissions of income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
- Liaise with SARS and clients on all SARS matters
- Calculate provisional tax
- Check income tax assessments
- Do objections to incorrect assessments
- Attend to documents issued on eFiling and follow up on SARS related matters
- Attend to registrations on eFiling
- Attend to deregistrations with SARS
- Experience in Word and Excel required
- Working knowledge of Greatsoft advantageous
Skill sets required:
Computer literacy – Microsoft Office and Google Suites;
Work effectively under pressure and handle confidential matters with tact and professionalism;
Good communication skills, verbal and written;
Detail orientated and deadline driven;
