About the team:

Device Communication Services team is responsible for the technical transformation of company software architecture providing easy way for new integrations and features released for our partners.

Each new device we release helps Milestone become part of every video surveillance installation in the world, to improve safety, and health and to enable smarter use of data and resources. 

We are now looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join the team in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of work).

What you will be doing most of the time:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive API test suites for microservices architectures according to product requirements
• Developing automated integrations and end-to-end test scenarios across multiple services
• Creating, executing, and automating test plans and scenarios for both new and existing products
• Analyzing and maintaining test results, documenting issues, and ensuring resolution
• Creating and maintaining test documentation and test strategy

How you can match:

• 3+ years of professional experience in the software testing field
• Complete understanding of the QA process and software development methodologies
• Basic knowledge of networking and streaming protocols, and containerization (TCP, UDP, HTTP, RTSP, Docker)
• Strong skills in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Functional, Regression, and Integration testing
• Familiarity with version control systems such as git
• Basic understanding of Linux server environments

Considered an advantage:

• Experience with testing frameworks like Venom 
• Basic knowledge and experience in testing microservices and API
