Dreamhaven is seeking a Brand Manager to lead the go-to-market planning and execution for our Moonshot Studios team. At Dreamhaven, we’re creating a new kind of game company, founded on shared values and a relentless passion for delivering meaningful player experiences. This role will report directly to the Commercial Lead of Moonshot Studios while working closely with the Dreamhaven central marketing team.

 

The ideal candidate has experience working with development teams and thrives under a creative environment. They love working cross-functionally with multiple teams and are expert tacticians that thrive in bringing new experiences to market. They are eager to roll up their sleeves and are willing to collaborate to solve problems with the broader teams. 


What you'll do:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive brand and marketing strategies, including product positioning and target audience identification
  • Manage and oversee go-to-market campaign activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across publishing and dev teams
  • Provide clear, detailed briefs and requirements to internal teams and external partners for creative assets and campaign initiatives
  • Create, proofread, and edit marketing copy for various channels, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice throughout all communications
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials, communications, and in-game assets, preserving a cohesive brand identity
  • Manage internal resources and external agencies/vendors, guiding all stages of product marketing from concept to execution
  • Collaborate with first-party partners and platforms to develop strategies that capture and maximize marketing opportunities 
  • Merchandise digital storefronts to drive sales, enhance player acquisition, and boost overall brand visibility
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to adapt the brand’s positioning and keep it relevant and appealing to gamers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute, analyze, and iterate on the in-game shop from launch to product retrospectives
  • Regularly assess game performance across core metrics and build hypothesis-driven approaches to improve the product



What we need:

  • Have a proven track record releasing games, either AAA blockbusters, experimental innovations, or indie titles 
  • Experience collaborating with marketing teams from Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo.
  • Deep enthusiasm for games of all genres, with a genuine love for the community
  • Experience partnering directly with studio teams, either as an embedded member or integral part of the studio
  • A respectful communicator who confidently shares ideas but is flexible and open to compromise when necessary
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders effectively
  • A passionate enthusiast of pop culture, gaming, and geek culture, deeply immersed in the community
  • Skilled in using research and analytics to inform strategies and decisions
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural differences and the ability to tailor communications for diverse global audiences
  • An attention to detail that identifies potential issues early and minimizes errors


Who you are: 

  • Minimum 5 years relevant brand marketing or campaign development experience
  • Experience in product management, product strategy, or related disciplines in gaming with a demonstrated ability to identify and drive improvements to the game
  • A depth of experience in campaign planning, strategy crafting, and in creative execution
  • Experience driving both results and improving brand resonance with target audiences
  • Knowledge of cultural trends and the fast-moving global games landscape
  • Demonstrated success working in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to launched programs/products to a global player community


The base salary range for this position is $101,545 to $169,241 USD per year, which is associated with our Level 3 salary band. The range listed for this position is just one component of Dreamhaven’s total compensation package for team members and exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
