Role Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support the Office of Children, Youth, and Families (OCYF) during its transition to a new statewide Child Welfare Case Management System (CW CM). The BA will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, compliance, and system readiness while supporting ongoing operations of current IT systems.
You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business, functional, and user requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT), and track system defects.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
- Manage data quality initiatives, including clean-up, conversion, and reporting processes.
- Support IT grants and budget reviews, including submissions and revisions.
- Facilitate meetings, workgroups, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Use tools like Microsoft Office Suite, TFS, Azure, and ServiceNow for documentation, reporting, and tracking.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the 67 County Children and Youth Agencies (CCYAs).
- Provide regular status updates, manage priorities, and address issues proactively.
- Assist in system design, configuration, and deployment activities.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis, including developing IT system requirements.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on UAT.
- Highly Desirable: 2+ years of experience in Child Welfare or Human Services.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, TFS, Azure, and ServiceNow.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
- Certifications:
- Highly Desirable: IIBA Certification.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
