Project description
Our team is responsible for upgrades, enhancement, and maintenance of ION Marketview and Anvil platforms for Asian and EU markets. The project provides immense learning opportunities and exposure to perform and prove one's skills and capabilities.
We have a number of value-generating initiatives and training for candidates who wish to progress in the electronic trading arena. The successful candidate would be working under the supervision of the Lead Analyst and developers based out of Bangalore and Singapore.
Responsibilities
You should have good exposure to electronic trading in the Fixed income domain, and an understanding of basic Fixed income products like bonds, and bond derivatives.
You should have a proven track record in requirements analysis from the blueprinting stage and should be able to work independently.
You should have a good technical background with fair knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms, and an understanding of any programming language, automated or manual testing would be an added advantage.
Skills
Must have
5+ years of experience in Capital Markets / Electronic Trading
Good understanding of Fixed Income products such as bonds and swaps workflow. (Domain Experience)
Experience with ION platform components like RefData, PXE, D2C Gateways, ION MarketView, etc. (ION Platform Knowledge)
Experience with Capital Markets like Bloomberg and Reuters, and trading portals like Yieldbroker, MarketAxess, and TradeWeb. (E-Trading Knowledge of Capital Markets)
Experienced with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools
Hands-on with Incident, Problem, and Capacity management
Work closely with developers, business, and project managers from other teams or projects.
Excellent consulting skills and negotiation skills
Exposure to ION market view or ION Sysadmin or Anvil platforms
Exposure to Llinux/Solaris platforms, fair knowledge of server maintenance
Good business knowledge of fixed-income products such as Bonds and Repo workflow
Hands-on experience on front-office trading platforms such as ION MarketView, ION Anvil 9, Anvil OMS Repo E-Trading, ITAS, and DPLAYER
Experience in Trading platforms like Bloomberg and Reuters
Exposure to basic Core Java and Unix shell scripting
Knowledge of database systems, SQL
Good understanding of the latest Test Automation tools: Robot Framework, Jest, Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber Framework, and Framework design from scratch
Well-versed with different stages of STLC with proficiency in requirement analysis, test strategy and planning, test environment setup test execution, defect reporting, and test closure
Experienced with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and project management tools
Nice to have
Experience in manual or automated testing, exposure, or knowledge of Java/python programming, Jenkins, cucumber testing, and related tools would be an added advantage
Experience in any programming language, ability to read and understand basic code
JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Sybase/SQL Server, Unix
Repo or Fixed Income eTrading
Business Knowledge, workflows, integration with other in-house systems
