Overview

The Business Development Director will be tasked with identifying and winning Hedge Fund, Managed Accounts, and Fund of Hedge Fund Administration mandates as well as Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Administration Mandates.

The preferred candidate must have: hedge funds and private markets sales experience, a CFO/COO and key intermediary network, senior contacts with several global Prime Brokers, and contacts with legal and accountancy practices. Above all the candidate must have a proven track record of building a significant pipeline of new business, working alongside dedicated subject matter experts and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients in the hedge fund and closed ended fund space, managed account and Fund of hedge Fund space with a focus on profitable new revenue generation
  • Identify and win new business mainly in India (or other assigned region(s) as required), targeting both new fund launches and established funds across the hedge fund, private equity, private debt, real estate, venture capital and fund of fund space
  • Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters

Experience

  • The candidate must have a proven track record of building a significant pipeline of new business with material revenue in the hedge fund arena of outsourced middle-office, back-office, fund administration and accounting services.
