Job Description

The Business Development Partner will engage with stakeholders to address concerns about investment reporting. They will proactively reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn. The role involves gaining sales expertise and utilizing tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and High Spot. Responsibilities include identifying new markets, arranging business meetings, promoting products, and building relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will also be required to create and maintain client information in CRM database.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in investment accounting.
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM database.
Must Have:
  • Track record of attaining and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent relationship building and management.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • 2+ years’ successful attainment in a Business Development or Inside Sales role

Job Summary: 

The Business Development Partner engages with stakeholders to address their concerns about investment reporting accuracy and timeliness. Using advanced technology, the representative and their team will proactively reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn. They will gain expertise in sales techniques and utilize company tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and High Spot to effectively find new prospects and contribute to Clearwater's growth. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. 

  • Source and arrange business meetings with prospective clients. 

  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. 

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. 

  • Create and maintain client information in our CRM database. 

 

Required Skills: 

  • Track record of attaining and exceeding targets. 

  • Excellent relationship building and management. 

  • Competitiveness – passion & drive. 

  • Ability to be a team player while also making independent decisions. 

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting. 

  • 2+ years’ successful attainment in a Business Development or Inside Sales role. 

  • Experience in investment accounting  

  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM database.
