The Business Development Representative will join the Inside Sales team and partner with sales and marketing teams to drive targeted, outbound prospecting into assigned accounts. Key responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating qualified leads through outbound phone and email, and meeting sales quotas. The role requires strong sales skills, the ability to prospect, research, qualify, and transition new leads to the Sales Team. The candidate should possess a proactive, can-do attitude to identify and develop new business prospects.
Must have:
  • Experience in a business/sales development role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
Good to have:
  • Salesforce experience

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Inside Sales team. You will partner with our regional sales and marketing teams to sell an amazing product that helps protect the world’s largest organizations!
 
 
What you'll do:
  • You will act as a liaison between customers and our marketing & sales teams and be responsible for driving targeted, outbound prospecting activities into a set of assigned accounts. Think of yourself as a key extension of the Sales team, primarily focusing on identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities for the Regional Sales Directors in the North American Enterprise space. 
  • You will be responsible for developing leads for marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas, quarter over quarter, year over year. This will require you to tap into your exceptional sales skills as you generate qualified leads primarily through outbound phone and email.
  • To be successful, you will know how to prospect, research, qualify, and transition new leads to our Sales Team. Being highly motivated with an ambitious, can-do attitude will help you identify and develop new business prospects from prospect lists and individual research.
What you've done:
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in a business/sales development role, preferably in a technology company.
  • Salesforce experience is a big plus.
Who you are:
  • Strong verbal and written communication. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Ability to articulate potential client challenges and solutions.
  • Cross-functional team player. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
