Content Production Coordinator

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. The role is fully remote working EST hours.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Content Production Coordinator to support our Direct Mail Print Lead and Commercial Print Lead. This role is crucial in managing multiple print production projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.

General Print Production:

• Coordinate and prioritize multiple print projects, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Understand business objectives, collect requirements, and define specifications for print assets.
• Analyze job requirements to determine optimal production methods.
• Oversee the bidding process for print projects and collaborate with external print suppliers.
• Review print proofs to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier capacity, project complexity, and internal timelines.
• Provide regular updates on project status in daily/weekly production meetings.

Direct Mail Production:

• Manage high-volume, high-demand direct mail campaigns, ensuring seamless production of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop and communicate key production milestones with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Create, review, and execute Direct Mail Lettershop instructions.
• Monitor inventory levels of kit components (e.g., preprinted shells, BREs, outer envelopes) for monthly mailings.

Commercial Print Production:

• Assist in executing various print formats, including postcards, brochures, pocket folders, and flyers.
• Support inventory management, handling low stock notices and coordinating with warehousing facilities.
• Manage the proof review process with internal and external business partners.
• Oversee commercial print projects from request to delivery, including scheduling, estimating via rate card pricing, purchase order creation, and proofing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic knowledge of print production processes and techniques.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and computer applications.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software is a plus.
