Salary: £26,000 per annum

What You'll Do

As a Credit Controller, you’ll play a key role in managing debt recovery, reconciliations, and invoice accuracy. You’ll ensure our accounts are well-managed, queries are resolved efficiently, and collections are handled with integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and analyse insurance-related accounts and prepare accurate invoices

• Collect outstanding balances while managing customer accounts within terms and credit limits

• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes from start to finish

• Reconcile the Sales Ledger and Bordereau, processing credits, cash, and journals

• Adhere to strict debt recovery procedures, ensuring all communication is professional

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve queries

• Support ad hoc departmental projects and initiatives

• Provide detailed insights on aged debt for provisioning

• Escalate issues where needed, ensuring timely and effective resolution

• Maintain compliance with all company policies, including data protection

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role

• Strong Excel skills, including use of SUM and IF formulas

• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A collaborative mindset with a flexible, reliable work ethic

• Confidence in managing workload and meeting deadlines under pressure

• A team player who thrives in a culture of accountability and mutual success
