Data and AI Cloud Developer

We’re looking for a Data & AI Cloud Developer who’s not just a master of GCP tools, but also a strong systems thinker with a knack for solving real-world challenges across data, infrastructure and intelligent workloads.

Location: Remote position open to candidates in Europe.

What Will You Do? 

• Jump into cloud infrastructure projects—including those involving code changes and migrations.
• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Datastream and Dataproc.
• Develop both predictive and generative AI workloads on Vertex AI.
• Build data architectures that support AI/ML, advanced analytics and real-time decision-making.
• Implement monitoring and validation processes to ensure data is trustworthy, consistent and production-grade.
• Manage infrastructure as code (preferably with Terraform) and deploy data/AI systems with confidence.
• Tune SQL queries, optimize data models and work magic with datasets in the cloud.
  
• Uphold data governance, security standards and regulatory compliance.

What You Bring 

• Hands-on experience with GCP tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Datastream, Dataproc and ideally Looker.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language—Python preferred.
• Experience designing, optimizing and maintaining data pipelines for large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and how to architect for them.
• Understanding of data quality frameworks, monitoring and validation best practices.
• Working knowledge of cloud-native architecture, DevOps workflows and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• You think critically and thrive in complex technical environments.
  
• You pick up new crafts quickly and connect the dots across systems.
• You're a good communicator—whether explaining ideas to a teammate or a customer.
