Job Description

This Deal Pursuit Team Manager role at Google Cloud focuses on managing the quote-to-cash agreement execution across the Google Cloud Security portfolio. Responsibilities include pricing, quoting, customer agreement negotiations, partnering with legal and sales teams to structure agreements, handling non-standard term approvals globally, sales onboarding and enablement, and process improvement design. The role requires managing a global team, ensuring agreements are finalized with correct information, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal) to maintain compliance. The manager will also handle documentation of internal and external quote-to-cash processes and policies, identifying potential risks and opportunities affecting performance and growth.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a technology contracting, legal, or sales operations environment.
  • Experience discussing enterprise agreements with customers and cross-functional internal business partners.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires communication with US and Canada based partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring a team.
  • Experience developing enterprise agreement structures and communicating them clearly to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting a goal carrying, enterprise promoting organization in the cloud, software, consulting, or technology space.
  • Experience in project management or transactional problem-solving issues.
  • Ability to lead and work on multiple time-sensitive projects at one time with the lens of improving processes.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for managing quotes-to-cash agreement execution across Google Cloud Security portfolio, including pricing, quoting, and customer agreement negotiations. You will partner closely with legal resources and Sales teams to structure agreements and work on non-standard term approvals for agreements globally. You will also help with sales on-boarding, enablement, and with the design of various process improvements, including delivering requirements and maintaining accountability for all agreement functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner to Google Sales and Business Operations, accelerating agreement closure timelines while mitigating commercial and agreement risk.
  • Manage a global team responsible for ensuring all agreements are finalized with the appropriate information to book inbound business, including ensuring approvals for non-standard agreements have been properly documented, raised to the right approval levels, and resolved within time frames.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Legal to ensure processes are designed to be compliant for all global agreements and policies.
  • Manage documentation regarding internal and external facing quote-to-cash processes and policies.
  • Work collaboratively across different functions to understand agreement requirements, structures, business terms, and identify potential risks or opportunities that can affect performance, growth, and positioning.
