Job Description

TruPlay Games seeks a Digital Marketing & Analytics Manager to oversee the marketing and analytics of its faith-based children's app. Responsibilities include data analysis from various sources (App Store Connect, Stripe, Google Play, etc.), creating dashboards, managing acquisition costs and LTV/AOV, monitoring channel performance, audience research, paid advertising (PPC, social media, affiliate), conversion optimization (landing pages, A/B testing), funnel analysis, and collaboration with development teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, data analysis, and paid advertising strategies within the app market. The role requires in-office work in Austin, TX.

Digital Marketing & Analytics Manager

Responsibilities: 


  • Analytics and Metrics
    • Connecting with and importing relevant data from disparate data sources (AppStore Connect, Stripe, Google Play, etc)
    • Analytics dashboard creation to visualize relevant data and trends
    • Acquisition Cost: Measure how much it costs to acquire a new subscriber.
    • Lifetime Value (LTV) and Average Order Value (AOV): Estimate how much revenue a subscriber will bring in at POS and over the duration of their subscription. 
    • Channel Performance: Monitor which acquisition channels are the most effective and allocate resources accordingly.


  • Audience Research and Creation
    • Prospecting
    • Retargeting/Remarketing

  • MarTech Integrations
    • Google Tag Manager
    • Tracking Pixels
    • Event tagging
    • User-story and acceptance criteria creation for dev teams


  • Paid Channels
    • PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Advertising: Ads on search engines like Google.
    • Social Media Advertising: Ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
    • Affiliate Marketing: Partners promote your service in exchange for a commission on each acquired subscriber.


  • Conversion Optimization
    • Landing Pages: Design landing pages tailored to different segments or acquisition channels.
    • A/B Testing: Continuously test different aspects of your acquisition process (ad copies, landing page designs, call-to-action buttons) to find out what works best.


  • Funnel Dynamics & Analysis
    • Understand where potential subscribers drop off & optimize those stages.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to Austin (or any location that may be requested) as required by Leadership


Location:

Our office is located in Austin, Texas. This position is an in-office / on-site position.
