The project also requires tracking project status, facilitating status calls, and fostering awareness of interdependencies between projects within the assigned therapeutic area. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise websites and online production.
  • Proven project management expertise, adhering to best practices.
  • Understanding of technical development for responsive websites.
  • Competent in web UX conventions and standards, including accessibility and SEO.
Good to have:
  • Experience using project tracking tools like Jira.
  • Proficient in Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Experience with Agile development preferred.

We’re looking to hire a Digital Project Manager for a Fortune 500 global pharmaceutical client. Team culture is based on open communication, accountability, and collaboration.

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the project management team to manage timelines, budget, and resources for website content (Adobe Experience Manager), ensuring their timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

This is a 12-month contract + extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Mettawa, and the role is on-site 3 days/week (2 days remote). Onward Search provides benefits for 40-hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for the duration of the contract.

Digital Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of all active web projects within the assigned therapeutic area, actively driving project progress in partnership with the web specialists team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, proactively identifying potential challenges and supporting the web team to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues, recommending process-based solutions.

  • Utilize knowledge of AEM or other content management system.

  • Track project status within Veeva.

  • Lead and efficiently facilitate status calls, highlighting potential risks and fostering awareness of interdependencies between projects within the assigned therapeutic area.

Digital Project Manager Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience contributing to enterprise-level websites and online production, using AEM or other web content management systems.

  • Proven project management expertise, adhering to best practices.

  • Solid understanding of technical development for responsive websites, emails, banners, and iPad applications.

  • Web development knowledge.

  • Competent in web UX conventions and standards, including accessibility and SEO.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience using project tracking tools like Jira (or Confluence, Smartsheet, Trello, Workfront).

  • Proficient in Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

  • Experience with Agile development preferred.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
