We are seeking an experienced Director of IT Operations - DevSecOps to oversee application operations across the FCC portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for protecting revenue streams while delivering significant modernization by transitioning to a DevSecOps model and employing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Your focus will be on enhancing efficiency, reliability, and security of the portfolio’s applications while ensuring successful project delivery across the board.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to adopt DevSecOps and SRE principles that foster resilience, incident management, capacity planning, and continuous deployment. You will lead efforts to modernize application operations by moving away from traditional methods and embracing automated processes and cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities
•Provide leadership and guidance to associate directors, managers, and/or professionals based on organizational goals and company direction
•Develop policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure
•Determine organizational objectives and divisional plans guided by a divisional strategy
•Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to maximize efficiency of our information systems operations and to solve problems that impact the direction of the business
•Interpret, execute, and recommend modifications to policies in order to improve the business process
•Primary accountability for the performance and results across multiple departments within the IT Infrastructure & Operations area of responsibility
•Provide enterprise strategic direction for regional and global IT network architecture while working with key stake holders to establish appropriate standards and controls to maximize service levels while minimizing costs
•Ensure the logical and physical network is performing as required and work with internal and external service providers to repair and restore service as needed
•Manage information technology infrastructure projects from inception to completion including regular status reporting, budgeting, technology testing and selection, contract management, implementation, service agreements, and managing vendor relationships
•Ensure all IT compliance requirements are met
•Proactively plan technology platforms and advancements in order to identify changes to systems and processes to meet new business requirements, reduce costs, and improve infrastructure performance stability and predictability
•Hire, recruit, and retain superior IT talent that is required to enable and drive future growth
Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
•10+ years working in IT Infrastructure & Operations or other equivalent experience
•Extensive professional experience working on large, complex projects related IT Infrastructure & Operations or other relevant experience
•Proven success managing, coaching, and leading mid- to senior-level staff
•Ability to drive departmental plans forward by setting priorities for the team
•Advanced knowledge of business processes in order to establish operating policies, business priorities, and standards
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships
