Job Description

Scopely seeks a Director of Analytics for Star Trek Fleet Command in Dublin or Barcelona (hybrid/remote). Responsibilities include leading analysts and engineers, driving growth strategies, developing insight cultures, and building scalable insight products. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in analytics leadership within large-scale live service video games, proven leadership skills, experience building insight cultures, and the ability to present complex data to various audiences. A passion for F2P games is essential. The role involves fostering a data-driven decision-making environment across the organization and contributing to the overall success of Star Trek Fleet Command, a top-grossing mobile game.

Description

Scopely is looking for a Director of Analytics to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team within our Midcore division in Dublin or Barcelona on a hybrid/remote basis.

Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength. Our in-house developed RPG was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.

What you will do

Team Building: lead analysts and engineers as part of a growing and collaborative group that performs at high level, handling their own work to tackle sophisticated business problems with a strong focus on value outcomes.
Game Leadership: work as part of the leadership group to drive a strategy of consistent growth for the studio, delighting our players.
Insight Culture: develop the decision-making practices across the organisation, building effective behaviours with focus on agile and lean practices.
Data Projects: build insight products that scale, applying sophisticated analytical concepts to make player behaviours, feature performance and game health actionable for non-data teams through the full game development lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

Impactful track record in an analytics leadership role.
Strong experience working in a large-scale live service title in video gaming.
Leadership skills dedicated to guiding diverse teams towards success.
Experience building an insight culture across development teams.
Sophisticated data practitioner who leads by example to drive project outcomes.
Ability to distil and present sophisticated findings for audiences at all levels.
A passion to drive success in world-class F2P games.
