Chamberlain University is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrollment Representative in Lisle, IL. This role involves guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the university's mission to transform healthcare education. Key responsibilities include proactively contacting and responding to prospective students via phone, email, and text, assessing and qualifying students through interviews, and guiding applicants through the enrollment process. The Enrollment Representative will build strong relationships with students in a high-volume environment, remain compliant with university standards, adapt to changes, and collaborate with a team to achieve new student enrollment goals. The role requires representing Chamberlain's culture of care and embodying TEACH values, participating in training, and performing other assigned duties.

Job Description

Chamberlain University is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrollment Representative to join our team in Lisle, IL. As an Enrollment Representative, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our mission to transform healthcare education.

  • Proactively contact and respond to prospective students via phone, email, and text messages, utilizing effective contact strategies
  • Assess and qualify prospective students through interviews to determine if our programs align with their academic and professional goals
  • Guide applicants through the enrollment process, collaborating with other departments to ensure positive application progression and student satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students in a high-volume environment
  • Remain compliant with university standards and policies while operating in a student-centric manner
  • Adapt quickly to changes and implement updates efficiently
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to support new student enrollment goals
  • Represent Chamberlain's culture of care and embody our TEACH values (Teamwork, Energy, Accountability, Community, Heart) in all interactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in customer service or sales preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, retain, and implement new information
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some evenings and weekends, to accommodate student and organizational needs

  • Empathetic approach to understanding and addressing student concerns

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $21.83 and $24.04. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
