Summary

The Lead Artificial lift engineer is responsible for ensuring wells run on artificial lift without any interruption and providing solutions for production enhancement opportunities from Lift perspective. This role ensures seamless coordination among subsurface, wells, and production operations for enhancing efficiency and maximizing production. Key responsibilities include: monitoring well performance under gas lift and ESP, undertaking corrective measures for well trips, ensuring seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production, analyzing draw down requirements and exploring scope for suitable advanced lift methodologies for production improvement, applying design soft wares for Artificial lift and well performance as per the requirement, listing and prioritizing intervention opportunities with the Subsurface team based on well performance and well conditions, working along with Completion Engineers for artificial lift planning, design and installation, resource management for smooth running of current lift systems and installation of new systems, ensuring seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production, utilizing digitalization tools for ALS monitoring, post failure analysis if any and improvement.
Must have:
  • 8 years of oil field experience in Artificial lift and Completions
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
  • 4 years experience in Artificial lift monitoring and design, preferably in ESP and gas lift
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Under the general guidance of the Head PE, East Coast, the Lead PE Artificial lift is responsible for ensuring wells run on artificial lift without any interruption and providing solutions for production enhancement opportunities from Lift perspective. This role ensures seamless coordination among subsurface, wells, and production operations for enhancing efficiency and maximizing production.

Reporting

The Lead Artificial lift engineer reports to the Head PE, East Coast

Responsibilities And Duties

The key responsibilities of the Lead Artificial lift Engineer include:

Monitor well performance under gas lift and ESP. Undertake corrective measures for well trips.

Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production.

Analyse draws down requirements and explore scope for suitable advanced lift methodologies for production improvement.

Should be able to apply design soft wares for Artificial lift and well performance as per the requirement.

List and prioritize intervention opportunities with the Subsurface team based on well performance and well conditions.

Work along with Completion Engineers for artificial lift planning, design and installation.

Resource management for smooth running of current lift systems and installation of new systems.

Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production.

Utilize digitalization tools for ALS monitoring, post failure analysis if any and improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of oil field experience in Artificial lift and Completions

Minimum of Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.

Min 4 years experience in Artificial lift monitoring and design, preferably in ESP and gas lift.

Strong communication and presentation skills
