We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic person to join our SMB FP&A team, dedicated to supporting our MicroBusiness organization, focusing on the “no-store” segment. This role will collaborate extensively across functions to provide comprehensive FP&A support to commercial and product leadership, managing a significant P&L, and driving strategic growth initiatives. PayPal counts with ~5M Monthly Active Microbusiness accounts, the majority of which are “no-store” merchants using P2P and Invoicing to accept payments; and there are big ambitions to grow this segment through the recent launch of business profiles and significant improvements to the business account features. We are looking for individuals who are self-directed, analytical, and adept at driving financial insights.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage P&L Forecasting and Reporting: Run the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for the product’s P&L. This includes maintaining financial models, coordinating periodic forecast and budget submissions, and preparing detailed KPI analyses on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

  • Strategic Analysis and Insights: Analyze key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.

  • Support Commercial/Product Team: Partner closely with the key stakeholders on all FP&A matters. This involves conducting financial reviews, performing ad hoc analyses, conducting deep dives into financial performance, and developing business cases to drive future growth initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with teams across commercial, product, marketing, risk management, analytics, pricing, and other finance functions to maximize financial performance and strategic alignment.

  • Decision Support: Provide financial insights to support optimal decision-making processes. Translate strategic decisions into financial outcomes and ensure alignment with forecast and budgetary requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experiences, with at least 2 years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles, with a strong background in managing P&Ls and/or finance models in Excel

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SQL is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with FP&A tools such as Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, or similar platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex financial models using Excel.

$52800 to $136510
