We do this by running a managed marketplace to the world’s most exceptional real-life experiences — from immersive tours to museums to live events and everything in between.

Headout has served tens of millions of guests from 196 countries (every single sovereign state on the planet) on one of our experiences across 100+ cities in 9 languages. Today, we have sales of 100s of millions of $s a year and are growing rapidly. Contrary to the norm, we deliver this scale and growth while being profitable. We've been unit profitable for 18 months + and have recently turned EBITDA profitable as well. We have raised $60M+ from top-tier investors and are building a durable company for the long term - because that's what our mission needs and deserves.

👩💻 The role
Steer the ship for Headout's global expansion, leading from our India headquarters. As the General Manager, Global Expansion, you will hold the compass, navigating the vast terrain of strategy, partnerships, sales, and more. Be the face of our business in various regions, managing a team of 10-12 and elevating our business to unprecedented heights over the next 24 months. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented leader with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments. The stakes are high, and the buck stops with you. The combination of skills needed make this an especially hard role to find the right person. Therein lies the challenges and the opportunity.

- High-Impact Role: As the General Manager for global markets, you will play a crucial role in shaping Headout’s strategy, providing you with the opportunity to leave your mark on the company by crafting plans to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and boosting organizational efficiency through process improvements and effective team management.

- Partnership and Growth: Building and nurturing lasting relationships with local suppliers and partners is critical. Your ability to identify and nurture key partnerships - existing and new - will be essential in curating an unrivaled selection of experiences to our customers.

- You’re A Striker. With 8-12 years in high-performance roles, be it in tech, strategy, or related fields, you’re driven by goals and outcomes. You have a keen ability to balance data and intuition, navigating team performance ups and downs to hit targets without sacrificing quality.
- You’re a Strategist. Every action, strategy, and decision you make will significantly impact Headout's global expansion. You'll be in the driver's seat, steering the P&L, driving the big-picture strategy as well as the finer operational details, including launching new cities and onboarding key supply partners and forming distribution partnerships.
- You’re a Leader. With over 5 years of leadership experience, you’ve mastered the art of motivation and building trust. You thrive in fast-paced environments, embracing rapid change and ambiguity with agility and determination. No challenge is too daunting, and no task is beneath you.
- You’re a Growth Catalyst. You challenge norms, seeking fresh, innovative solutions. Whether it's a bird's eye view or a granular look, you navigate both realms with ease.
- You’re Data-Driven. Your success is backed by metrics and data-driven decision-making. You’re comfortable working with tools like SQL and Excel, ensuring that your strategies are informed by solid data, and that outcomes align with business objectives.
