The General Manager, Global Expansion at Headout will lead the company's global expansion strategy from the India headquarters. This high-impact role involves navigating strategy, partnerships, sales, and team management (10-12 people). Responsibilities include steering the P&L, driving expansion into new cities, onboarding key suppliers and distribution partners, and ensuring initiatives resonate globally while delivering locally impactful results. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, detail-oriented leader with a proven track record in fast-paced environments, possessing strong leadership, analytical, and innovative skills. They will need to balance data and intuition to achieve targets without compromising quality.

👩‍💻 The role

Steer the ship for Headout's global expansion, leading from our India headquarters. As the General Manager, Global Expansion, you will hold the compass, navigating the vast terrain of strategy, partnerships, sales, and more. Be the face of our business in various regions, managing a team of 10-12 and elevating our business to unprecedented heights over the next 24 months. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented leader with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments. The stakes are high, and the buck stops with you. The combination of skills needed make this an especially hard role to find the right person. Therein lies the challenges and the opportunity.

  • Partnership and Growth: Building and nurturing lasting relationships with local suppliers and partners is critical. Your ability to identify and nurture key partnerships - existing and new - will be essential in curating an unrivaled selection of experiences to our customers.

  • You’re A Striker. With 8-12 years in high-performance roles, be it in tech, strategy, or related fields, you’re driven by goals and outcomes. You have a keen ability to balance data and intuition, navigating team performance ups and downs to hit targets without sacrificing quality. 
  • You’re a Strategist. Every action, strategy, and decision you make will significantly impact Headout's global expansion. You'll be in the driver's seat, steering the P&L, driving the big-picture strategy as well as the finer operational details, including launching new cities and onboarding key supply partners and forming distribution partnerships.
  • You’re a Leader. With over 5 years of leadership experience, you’ve mastered the art of motivation and building trust. You thrive in fast-paced environments, embracing rapid change and ambiguity with agility and determination. No challenge is too daunting, and no task is beneath you.
  • You’re a Growth Catalyst. You challenge norms, seeking fresh, innovative solutions. Whether it's a bird's eye view or a granular look, you navigate both realms with ease.
  • You’re Data-Driven. Your success is backed by metrics and data-driven decision-making. You’re comfortable working with tools like SQL and Excel, ensuring that your strategies are informed by solid data, and that outcomes align with business objectives.
