Job Description

ByteDance seeks a Global Mobility Specialist (Third-party Contractor) to support the end-to-end employee transfer/assignment process. Responsibilities include cost estimations, process guide creation and maintenance, employee documentation support, vendor partnership, and addressing mobility-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, multitasking, and team collaboration skills. Experience in mobility or HR operations, familiarity with APAC labor laws, and proficiency in using IT tools are preferred. This is a 12-month temporary assignment managed by a third-party agency; employment and benefits will be handled by the agency, not ByteDance.
Must have:

Good to have:

About the Team Global Mobility Service team endeavors to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee mobility process. We are dedicated to leading with care and have empathy in mind. We strive to develop efficient and simple people processes, systems and services. We aspire to ensure employees feel heard and that they are given the appropriate resources and support needed to be effective and efficient during their mobility. Responsibilities: 1. Support the mobility team in transfers/ assignments end to end process 2. Perform cost estimates required for transfers/ assignments 3. Create and maintain the current process guides for various mobility types 4. Work with employees to support them on documentations required during their transfers/ assignments lifecycle 5. Develop expertise on the mobility knowledge so as to support questions posted by employees or relevant stakeholders for the mobility arrangements 6. Partner with relevant vendors in all stages of execution 7. Participate in any ongoing global mobility projects
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - Strong communication skills both written and spoken - Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment - Strong team collaboration and communication skills and the ability to cooperate efficiently with stakeholders Preferred Qualification: - Preferably 3-5 years of experience in mobility or HR Operations - Familiarity with labor laws and regulations across the APAC region, ensuring compliance in global mobility practices. - Ability to maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders (cross team or cross functions) - IT savvy and open to using new IT tools for day to day operations ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
