Job Description

As a Google Workspace Sales Specialist, you'll drive business growth by developing new and maintaining existing customer relationships. Responsibilities include working with clients to deliver business value, demonstrating product functionality, and showcasing business use cases. You'll collaborate with account teams, build internal/external alignment, and manage opportunities within an overlay model. This role demands prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals, while building executive relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. You'll need to understand customer requirements at both business and technical levels and work towards assigned business and pipeline goals, prioritizing exceptional customer experience. Fluency in English and Indonesian is essential for communication with Indonesian customers.
Must have:
  • 7+ years enterprise software/cloud experience
  • Fluent English & Indonesian
  • Develop new business & maintain accounts
  • Prospect, qualify, and close deals
  • Build executive customer relationships
Good to have:
  • Experience with SaaS, productivity, or collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud products
  • Understanding of modern workplace trends
  • Cross-functional communication skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a business role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Indonesian fluently to communicate with Indonesian customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) products, productivity, or collaboration technology solutions with partners.
  • Knowledge of industry trends on modern workplaces, hybrid work environments, collaborations, and communications.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud products.
  • Ability to balance engaging priorities and manage several projects.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally at C-level within companies.

In this role, you will help us grow our Workspace business by both developing new businesses as well as maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base. You will work with customers to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide an overview of business use cases. You will accelerate Google Workspace business growth by engaging with our clients, building internal/external alignment, and successfully manage opportunities in an overlay model to the field business organization. You will also prospect, qualify, develop, and facilitate Google Workspace opportunities for growth through cloud motivated business transformation. You will build a pipeline and work with account teams to create customer solutions and motivate agreements. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Work towards assigned business and pipeline goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.
  • Develop new relationships and expand existing accounts. Prospect, qualify, develop, and close business opportunities.
  • Work with the Google Account teams and partner ecosystem on a territory strategy to generate and develop business growth opportunities for Google Workspace to maximize business results in the territory, and develop opportunities with large enterprise customers.
  • Explore and understand customer requirements on a business and technical level.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
