Job Description

As a Growth Manager for AppDev Sales, you'll focus on growing the app developers who lead each market in Entertainment, start-up companies, and more through Google App Campaign and other Google properties. You'll be responsible for engaging with clients and ensuring they achieve their advertising goals, managing the pipeline effectively, developing a strategy for long-term success, forming cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, identifying and prioritizing opportunities within the client portfolio, addressing client concerns, and measuring campaign performance to optimize results and drive business growth. You will also contribute to the development of Google's comprehensive suite of app products.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in consulting, partnerships, business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organized, and responsible team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions.
  • Interest in data-driven sales and broader business beyond ads.
Good to have:
  • Experience in mobile apps, gaming companies, or advertising sales.
  • Experience in exceeding strategic goals.
  • Understanding of the app developer ecosystem.

Minimum qualifications:

In this role, you will engage with mobile first businesses, exceeding business goals and driving change to accelerate Google’s position in the fast growing and strategic business of app install. The Same Store Growth team focuses on growing the app developers who lead each market in Entertainment (Gaming, Comics, Streaming etc.), start-up companies, and more through Google App Campaign and other Google properties.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and ensure clients achieve their advertising goals. Manage the pipeline effectively and develop a strategy for long-­term sustained success.
  • Form cross-­functional relationships with entire Google Customer Solutions (GCS), Large Customer Sales, Google Play, and other stakeholders in order to realize advertiser goals.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities within the client portfolio. Address client concerns and measure campaign performance to optimize results and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of Google’s comprehensive suite of app products.
