Job Description
As a Junior HR Operations Specialist at Voodoo, you'll support the HR team in daily operations, ensuring a positive employee experience. Responsibilities include managing the employee lifecycle across various countries (onboarding to offboarding), maintaining compliance, updating HRIS data (BambooHR), supporting payroll, administering benefits, and providing first-line support for employee inquiries. You'll be involved in process improvements and contribute to a high-performing HR function. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.

Voodoo’s Corporate function is composed of five teams: HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, M&A, and Finance, working together to drive Voodoo’s success.
As a Junior HR Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR team with day-to-day operations and ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the excellent delivery of operational HR lifecycle in all countries where Voodoo is present from onboarding to offboarding, including preparation of appropriate documentation, immigration compliance or implementation of processes.
- Maintain compliance with policies and legal requirements by managing relationships with relevant administrative stakeholders.
- Own the maintenance and updates of employee data in the HR Information System (BambooHR), ensuring accuracy and timely adjustments for any changes in employee status.
- Support payroll data processing, including tracking bonuses, salary increases, and sick leave.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in the strengthening of our HR Operations, understanding what matters to our People and ensure our function is high-performing notably providing first-line support for HR inquiries through the ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of employee issues and escalating when necessary.
Profile
- 1-2 years progressive experience in an HR role (apprenticeship or junior-level experience in HR operations or administration is a plus)
- Full proficiency in French and English
- Understands basic HR processes and be eager to learn more about compliance, documentation, and payroll coordination
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Problem-solving enthusiasm: you go beyond identifying issues or challenges and focus on how to address them
- Great communication skills across languages and cultures with an ability to build trust-based relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic HR environment
- Team player and a good sense of humor are definitely a plus
- Familiarity with payroll, benefits, immigration, relocation processes is an advantage
