This fixed-term contract (April 2025 - January 2026) role involves building and managing C-level relationships with Telco clients in Germany and brands offering web services in Europe/North America. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive understanding of client business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics. The role requires structuring long-term strategies, leading cross-functional teams, achieving growth goals through presenting Google advertising solutions, and creating data-driven analyses. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-building skills, experience with Google Ads, YouTube, and DV360, and expertise in branding and performance marketing. This position requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively across different teams and externally with clients.
Must have:
  • 8 years of experience in advertising, sales, or business development (or 6 with advanced degree)
  • Executive-level relationship management with clients and partners
  • Experience with Google Ads, YouTube, DV360
  • Branding and performance marketing experience
  • Strategic planning and presentation skills
Good to have:
  • 6 years of executive-level relationship management

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • Experience in branding and performance.
  • Experience with Google advertising solutions: Google Ads, YouTube, DV360.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • Experience creating and presenting sales narratives.
  • Experience in project management with a focus on client event.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills even in ambiguous situations.

The Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with the largest companies in the Telco industry in Germany and the brands offering Webservices solutions in Europe and North America to advise and develop digital solutions that build businesses. We're situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect with their audiences.

This Fixed-Term Contract is effective from April 2025 through Jan 1, 2026 (9 months).

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and partner stakeholders in the Telco Industry. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
