The Investment Operations Specialist will support the Securities Operations team, focusing on process improvement, change management, and daily operational tasks within SimCorp Dimension. Responsibilities include leading or participating in projects, ensuring efficient processes, providing platform training, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting the development of new workflows. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient processes and effective adoption of the company's technology platforms. The Specialist will also monitor KPIs and act as a proxy to the Global Head of Securities Operations.

Why this role is important for us

To support our Securities Operations team, which is part of the investment operations services (IOS), we are looking for a Investement Operations Specialist. You will participate in projects aimed at process improvement and change management, while also engaging in daily operational tasks in SimCorp Dimension. You should have proven experience in the financial industry, particularly in asset management operations.

Ensuring efficient processes and effective adoption of our technology platforms is crucial to ensure we reach our full potential, which is why this role is essential to us. We are therefore looking for someone with demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives and projects, including the ability to describe and document solutions effectively. Proficiency in SimCorp Dimension and a digital mindset are essential.

What you will be responsible for

  • Lead or participate in projects aimed at operational improvements or client onboardings
  • Engage in daily operational tasks, also providing platform training and act as a transferor of knowledge
  • Ensure oversight into application functionality and testing efforts including the review of business requirements, functional specifications, and the preparation and completion of testing.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within existing processes
  • Support development and implementation of new workflows and ensure adoption.
  • Routinely monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to ensure that new initiatives are effectively enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as proxy to the Global Head of Securities Operations

 

What we value

  • More than 5 years of experience working with Simcorp Dimension in the investment industry
  • Profound understanding of one or more back office functions, such as Trade Processing, Settlement, Reconciliations and Asset Servicing.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English Language) with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify problems, analyze them, and propose solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
