Owns and manages documentation, runbooks, and decision trees for the supported areas.
Act as first point of contact for the internal engineering teams, guiding them through the intake process and if necessary, escalate support or feature requests to appropriate platform team.
Note that this team is required to work on a late shift, 16:00 – 24:00 IST 1-2 weeks per month in order to provide full business hour coverage of the Global Tech organization. During these shifts, you will be allowed to work fully remote or provided transportation from office to home.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with particular emphasis on technical documentation (including diagramming)
Ability to administer a team’s agile process (creating exemplary tickets in Jira, sprint planning, etc)
Ability to support a global organization that requires working the late shift, potentially up until midnight, a couple of weeks per month.

You thrive under minimal supervision with the ability to self-motivate and self-organize within the organizational structure. You have experience managing a team that supports and operates a cloud-based platform. You measure everything, make decisions based on data, are consumer-focused, and take immense pride in your work.

You have worked as a Solution Architect, Operations Engineer, or similar, providing hands-on support for and guidance to external stakeholders.
Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch. You can distill key points out of complex technical descriptions to share with non-technical stakeholders, adapting your language and style of communication depending on the audience. You communicate through data, dates, and facts using emotion judiciously to motivate and inspire.
You lead by example and do not consider yourself above individual contributor work. You are comfortable teaching best practices by showing people, not just telling people. Teams follow your lead because you are an inspirational leader, and you lead by example.

You have demonstrated the capacity to make decisions for more than one engineering team or functional area showing that your judgment is fungible.
