The Senior Producer will play a key role in the development of Marathon, driving the development of Systems features. Responsibilities include managing the production of a set of experiences, maintaining the pipeline and schedule, driving regular evaluations, setting milestone goals, facilitating communication, iterating on production processes, and ensuring studio compliance. The ideal candidate should have a passion for game development and the ability to orchestrate complex projects with significant impact.
Must have:
  • Experience in internal games production in a AAA setting
  • Experience producing systems features
  • Product acumen for multiplayer shooters
  • Ability to partner with creative and technical leaders
  • Results oriented and composed under pressure
  • Ability to self-motivate and motivate others
  • Understanding of complex content pipelines
  • Hard project management skills and data-oriented approaches
Good to have:
  • A deep understanding of JIRA
  • Live Service production experience

Job Details

Bungie is seeking a Senior Producer to play a critical role in the development of Marathon. This Senior Producer will work as a part of the Marathon team to drive development of Systems features, ensuring we ship great player experiences on time and within budget. Systems features include loot, rewards, social interactions between players, and game progression.

The ideal candidate will be a tenacious operator who won't let up until the way forward is clear and the team is on the right path. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive all production of a set of experiences in Systems area of Marathon, ensuring that we ship great player experiences on time and within budget
  • Maintain a well understood pipeline and schedule for product area
  • Drive regular learnings and evaluation of in development content to measure and ensure a high-quality player experience
  • Drive milestone goals and schedule for an Experience Team on Marathon’s Systems area, in conjunction with the wider Production Team and project timeline
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration and manage dependencies across disciplines, teams, and stakeholders
  • Iterate on production processes to continuously improve our velocity, collaboration, and visibility
  • Work with limited supervision and use independent judgment outside of established procedures when necessary
  • Ensure studio compliance with company policies and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in internal games production in a AAA setting (or equivalent)
  • Experience producing systems features
  • Product acumen around and passion for multiplayer shooters (bonus if you play extraction or survival-oriented shooters)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with creative and technical leaders and staff
  • Results oriented, focused and composed under pressure
  • Ability to self-motivate and motivate others
  • Understanding of complex, multi-disciplinary content pipelines
  • Hard project management skills and data-oriented approaches to development plans

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • A deep understanding of JIRA
  • Live Service production experience
