Job Description

As a Measurement Specialist at Google, you'll work with large clients to drive their growth using digital advertising. Your expertise in online media, coupled with strong investigative and communication skills, will be crucial in delivering top-tier client service, conducting market research, and leveraging data analysis. You will uncover insights from large datasets, helping clients use Google's measurement solutions effectively. You'll guide clients through measurement, privacy, and data activation, ensuring they maximize ROI. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, advising clients on Google's product offerings and setting strategic advertising goals. Responsibilities include building client relationships, developing customized measurement frameworks, conducting ad effectiveness studies, driving adoption of preferred methodologies, and sharing best practices. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance product innovation and client success.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in consulting/analytics
  • Data analysis and strategy skills
  • Fluent English and Mandarin
  • Client relationship building
  • Cross-functional collaboration

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in consulting, research or analytics research in digital media, sales, marketing, or product areas.
  • Experience in using data to identify and recommend ways to improve product and customer strategy.
  • Experience identifying key internal stakeholders to build networks and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience presenting insights to executive stakeholders including statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Google's measurement products (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Firebase) and leading third-party platforms (e.g., Adobe, AppsFlyer).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and media buying.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically for framework development.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with advertisers and sales teams.
  • Excellent investigative and communication skills.

As a Measurement Specialist at Google, you will be our digital advertising business, working with clients to help them grow. You will leverage your data analysis skills to uncover insights from large datasets, helping customers effectively use Google's measurement solutions to make informed marketing decisions. You will use your relationship-building skills to guide them through the complexities of measurement, privacy, and data activation, ensuring they understand the impact of their advertising spend and maximize their return on investment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, to advise clients on Google's broad product offerings and setting the goal for their advertising strategies. Ultimately, you will empower clients to connect with audiences effectively and grow in the ever-evolving digital landscape.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and measurement needs. Partner closely with Google Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and drive product innovation.
  • Develop customized measurement frameworks and roadmaps for clients, encompassing a range of methodologies and Google's measurement solutions. Design tests to demonstrate the effectiveness of robust measurement practices.
  • Conduct in-depth custom ad effectiveness studies and analyses to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and media.
  • Drive the adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches across clients, verticals, and the industry.
  • Share and scale best practices, learnings, and business strategies (e.g., objection handling, pitching, business techniques, etc.) to upscale accounts, and link solutions and best practices to meet customer and Google business needs.
