Job Description

This role involves working on a Murex Market Data program for a large European bank. Responsibilities include Market Data Development and support, gathering requirements from end-users, contributing to continuous improvement of the release process, and collaborating with production support and vendors. The program delivers a new platform for Treasury Front Office, TMO, and Risk to manage bank funding. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Murex, Market Data development (real-time and batch), Reuters and Bloomberg configurations, and various tools like RTBS, MDCS, cachetool, Monit, and scripting languages.

Must have:

7+ years Murex experience
Market data development & support
Real-time Market Data development
Reuters & Bloomberg configurations
RTBS, MDCS, cachetool, Monit
Import/Export Processing Scripts
Market Data Batch (MDRS, MDIT)
MD services monitoring

Good to have:

Confluence knowledge base creation
Unix scripting
CMS/CTT
Autosys
Bitbucket/Teamcity

Project description

We've been engaged by a large European Bank to provide resources to their Murex program.

The programme is delivering a new platform to Treasury Front Office, TMO and Risk to manage the funding of the Bank. The Programme team members are specialists in multiple skills with the necessary experience to work on change requirements and enhancements, also directly interact with the Business stake holders, to take Business Requirements from inception through to production delivery

Responsibilities

You'll work on the Market Data Development and support

Should be able to independently discuss with end user the requirements and get clarification

Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of the release process

Skills

Must have

7+ years of experience in Murex

Experience on Market data development and support

Experience on Market Data Realtime development

Reuters and Bloomberg configurations

RTBS, MDCS, cachetool, Monit, Import/Export Processing Scripts

Experience of Market Data Batch

MDRS, MDIT

Monitoring of MD services, containers, and EOD MD jobs

Collaborate with Production support / Market Data vendors on regular basis for issue resolution and onboarding of new instruments/datasets

Nice to have

Creating a knowledge base on confluence

Technical skill required

Unix scripting
