Job Description

The Operations Manager will drive operational excellence across all areas of the business in Colombia and Peru. Responsibilities include liaising with leadership to set strategic goals, planning and monitoring daily operations, coordinating and evaluating business procedures, overseeing customer support, revising/formulating policies, managing vendor relationships, analyzing performance data, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This role requires in-depth knowledge of diverse business functions, data analysis, and regulatory procedures in Colombia and Peru.

The Operations Manager will drive operational excellence across all areas of the business. This role is responsible for ensuring we have resources and procedures to drive the company strategy forward, ensuring the business runs smoothly.

You’ll coordinate multiple departments, ensuring they have the people and development plans required to function successfully and providing guidance and coaching where necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and stakeholders in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

You will be an established leader who can devise and implement processes and efficiencies to successfully run the business, streamlining the company’s operations to facilitate long-term success.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Head of Ops Latam and the Country Manager to set strategic goals, devising and delivering aligned operational activities.
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives, implementing improvements where possible.
  • Oversee customer support processes, refining them to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and successfully manage their implementation.
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics, feeding back to the business regularly.
  • Ensure that the company operates in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Work experience and skills

  • Proven experience as Operations Manager or equivalent position.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory procedures in Colombia & Perú.
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and G-Suite applications.
