Senior Server Engineer

We’re building bridges between online, social and land-based gaming businesses to create amazing, integrated experiences that keep players in the game.

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Server Engineer to join our team and take ownership of critical player-facing services that ensure security, compliance, and seamless access. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our authentication and player communication flows, manage login, session control, regulatory messages, and secure identity handling. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver high-quality, user-friendly solutions that keep our players safe, informed, and connected. 

What You'll Do:

• Take architectural ownership of platform services, mentor junior engineers, and ensure technical alignment across the team. 
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, proactively address technical debt, and implement sustainable, long-term solutions. 
• Develop metrics for observability to ensure service quality. 
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and reviews while improving system scalability and performance. 
• Research and propose new tools and technologies to improve system performance, reliability, and engineering processes. 
• Partner with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and QA teams to align technical solutions with business goals and compliance requirements. 

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in development. 
• Experience building production systems using Java and frameworks like Dropwizard or Spring, with a solid grasp of REST, messaging systems, and relational databases. 
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of services, drive technical initiatives, and deliver high-quality outcomes. 
• Ability to mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative engineering culture. 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience in a related field. #LI-HYBRID
