About the job:
As a People Experience Excellence Global Process Owner Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving Google's People Operations strategy. You will be responsible for designing and implementing processes and programs that enhance the employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle, from hiring to retirement. You will collaborate with regional delivery teams to ensure global consistency and effectiveness. Your expertise in process design, program management, and people operations will be essential in driving positive change and improving efficiency within Google.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management
  • 7 years of experience in people operations
  • Designing and planning the rollout of service changes
  • Developing subject matter expertise on global operations
  • Working closely with regional delivery teams
Good to have:
  • Experience in managing large-scale transformation projects
  • Experience in benefits programs and relevant process and system design for program implementation
  • Experience developing and maintaining reliable process documentation

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management, or managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 7 years of experience in people operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing large-scale transformation projects.
  • Experience in benefits programs and relevant process and system design for program implementation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining reliable process documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a process designer for our hire to retire portfolio of activities and projects.
  • Design process and program improvements to address business needs and improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Design and plan the roll-out of service changes.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on the global operations within a variety of service areas, to facilitate meaningful and effective partner discussions.
  • Work closely with regional delivery teams to develop and maintain resource documentation, including process mapping, training materials and knowledge management with a consideration for global needs.
  • Advise partners on risks, dependencies, timing, or technology considerations supporting a multi-year service roadmap.
