We're looking for an experienced Principal Software Development Engineer-UI to join our Unified Experiences Platfrom team. Reporting to the VP, Software Development, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and drive the engineering effort for the development, and maintenance of reusable UI components for our best-in-class design system using ReactJS/TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and software engineers, to define the vision and roadmap for the design system UI component library.
- Architect and design scalable and efficient UI component frameworks and libraries with a next generation build system.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices and ensuring code quality.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX design team to ensure the design system meets the needs of the organization and aligns with industry best practices.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 12+ years of professional experience as a front-end engineer, including coaching junior engineers and Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and developing reusable UI components using ReactJS.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and collaboration with designers and proficient in CSS, including positioning and layout, with practical knowledge of the W3C box model and algorithms.
- Minimum of 8+ years focused on UI engineering, particularly with ReactJS.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with responsive designs, and mobile-first development.
- Strong understanding of front-end build tools, package managers, monorepos and version control systems (e.g., Nx, npm, Git).
- Experience in performance optimization, code quality, component composition with a layered-cake approach, and testing methodologies for reusable UI components.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
