Principal UX Designer

As a Principal UX Designer, you will lead the design and implementation of user-centered solutions that captivate players and elevate the quality and success of our game. Leveraging your extensive experience and strategic vision, you will redefine gaming excellence and set new industry standards.

Key Duties Include

• Designing intuitive UX experience flows for complex user journeys and interactions.  
• Designing intuitive HUD layout to support core gameplay. 
• Collaborating with the immediate UI team and the wider Design, Art and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with project goals and player expectations. 
• Champion accessibility throughout the project and design vision 
• Create wireframes, user flows and prototypes based on feedback to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in UX design, integrating innovative practices and technologies into our processes

• Previous experience working on published game projects. 
• Extensive experience in UX design, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences 
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX wireframe projects, including games or interactive experiences 
• Expertise in UX design tools and methodologies like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing 
• Experience of implementing UX to game engine.  
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and preferences 
• Tacit UX knowledge of target platforms, user input devices, language & localisation, etc.

Desirable

• Experience of working on both full price and free to play game projects 
• Experience with motion graphics and animation for UI elements 
• Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator experience
