About your role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the team in creating a unified, user-friendly analytics visualization system that simplifies working with data, clarifies metrics, and supports informed decision-making.
About the Products and Challenges
We are developing a BI product to help employees quickly and easily find the necessary data for decision-making. Currently, the company has hundreds of reports, many of which are difficult to locate, understand, or use. It’s often unclear which metrics are accurate, and navigating between reports is challenging.
What needs to be implemented:
- Digitize the company's business model by developing a unified methodology for calculating metrics and indicators.
- Implement a unified approach to data visualization, ensuring that the information is not only accurate but also easy to perceive.
- Develop a reporting navigation system, linking it to the company's role structure and employees' tasks.
- Create a process for the development and lifecycle of reports: from creation to deletion when they become outdated.
- Implement solutions, working closely with business units.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure the implementation of key stages in the development of a data product, including gathering requirements from stakeholders, setting priorities for the team, and overseeing execution
- Understand how data can help make better strategic decisions
- Be a strategist and innovator who knows how to balance complexity and simplicity — not creating hundreds of unnecessary reports, but building a clear and functional system
- Be able to build a system of metrics
- Develop data visualizations that are clear and user-friendly
- Conduct customer development effectively: research user needs and propose solutions that truly help them
- Set up processes within the team and manage the product lifecycle
- Know the best industry practices and apply them to create a system that will work and evolve for many years

Strategic and Process Expertise:
- Experience developing and implementing metric calculation methodologies
- Skilled in working with data: analyzing and creating visualization systems
- Conducting user research and understanding business needs for different roles
- Creating functional processes for working with dashboards and reports
- Strategic thinking with the ability to iteratively implement solutions
Technical Expertise:
We are looking for a candidate with basic technical experience to understand the team's tasks and interact more effectively with developers and analysts. You should have a basic understanding of working with data: SQL, BI tools, and ETL processes. It would be a plus if you are familiar with data integration (REST API, cloud platforms).
