About the Role

Sago Mini is seeking a Production Manager to empower and guide our team through the development pipeline for a 3D cross-platform cozy game! This is a process focused role responsible for facilitating and clarifying team initiatives and goals. Oversee game development projects through their life cycle, and right into excited kids’ hands!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Run regular sprint meetings with a product team that includes developers, designers and other stakeholders.
  • Assess and update estimates and risks associated with delivery.
  • Pioneering the production of new features/systems/tools for our 3D game development pipeline.
  • Facilitate the hand off of builds to the QA and release teams.
  • Break down new features into tasks and track through to completion.
  • Group features and bug fixes into releases.
  • Work with QA to assess and prioritize bug reports.
  • Maintain communication with the team, stakeholders & Sr Production manager to ensure progress and share status throughout the project.
  • Document new features, processes, requirements and tools.
  • Set up and monitor feature rollout metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field.
  • At least 2 shipped titles on mobile, pc or console.
  • 3-5 years of experience working as part of a small to medium sized hybrid team.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to quickly dig through and synthesize technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of project management and bug tracking software.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for open-ended play design.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience using Asana for project management.
  • Previous experience in software QA and/or technical documentation.
  • Experience using Git/Unity.
  • Experience in 3D modelling, character rigging, or animation.
  • Experience designing for children and/or families.
